This project required the research and execution for a brand of beer including the creation of the front and back labels complete with brand information and necessary food item verbiage. The first stage was deciding the type of beer (stouts are a personal favorite of mine) followed by researching the brewing process, and finally building a brand around not just the products ingredients, but also the flavor palette of a stout beer. The juxtaposition of tarot card art and cosmology with the rustic, sweet yet smooth taste of a full body stout—The Virgo Brews brand was born.
