Through research on the De Stijl artists and De Stijl movement, this project required the design of a postage stamp embodying the artistic principles and methodology the group established. By reading their manifesto, understanding their practices and conceptual rules, my design process took multiple stages. The final stamp design truly captures the De Stijl principles, with a clean, modern feel with legibility still being a key factor.

Usage of the abstract geometric tulip element, designing a postage stamp for the Netherlands from a historic artistic group became a modern execution allowing the design to come together beautifully.
